Round the Bend Farm- a working family farm

Round the Bend Farm is a working family farm. We sell fresh, naturally grown turkeys, as well as seasonal fruits, vegetables  and flowers. We have been in continuous operation since 1986. We cordially invite you to come visit us and bring the family.

A Farm Update

March!

Did March come in like a lion or a lamb?  I'm hoping with all this cold, snowy, weather we can say it came like a lion, that way it will go out like a lamb-beautiful, warm and sunny.

Right now the greenhouses are getting ready for planting, the sun is so strong it was 65 degrees in there already and the ground is warming up.

Easter is quite early this year so we're hoping for warmer weather to melt the snow.  No matter though, we will still have a great Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 4th.

Our on farm market winter hours are Fridays noon to 6 pm.

Don't forget that in our market we have our own honey, turkey burgers, pepperettes, turkey sausages, frozen whole turkeys and kolbasa, whole chickens, eggs, tarts, pies and baked goods.

We have wonderful cookie baker/supplier from Circles And Squares-part of Baxter Kitchens- a local maker of the most amazing cookies.  Try the Kitchen Sink cookie or Ginger Molasses..or any of the other kinds they make.

The farm yard and the play areas are closed for the season.

Like us on facebook and see pictures of what is happening at the farm!

Farming is a lot of very hard, dirty and non-ending work but we still enjoy what we do and we love to share our experiences with others.
