Round the Bend Farm- a working family farm

Round the Bend Farm is a working family farm. We sell fresh, naturally grown turkeys, as well as seasonal fruits, vegetables and succulents. We have been in continuous operation since 1986. We cordially invite you to come visit us, in season, and bring the family.

Winter Market Hours

Our regular season has ended and we are on winter hours.   The farm venue is closed, the animals and birds are tucked away in the barn.

Our farm market is open Friday afternoons from noon to 6 pm.  We have turkey products, eggs, honey, jams, oils, sauces and some vegetables, squash and apples.  As well we have decor that would make great Christmas presents :)

It's Christmas Turkey Time!

Farm Fresh Turkeys available 12 to 25+pounds and there are some BIG birds as well.

Our turkeys are grain, corn and soybean fed, no medicated feed, no growth hormones, no antibiotics.  They are happy- living in our naturally ventilated curtain walled barn with lots of freedom, fresh air and fresh kale.

CALL to ORDER your TURKEY NOW!  And don't forget your assigned turkey pick up number :)

Please make sure you order early to ensure your can purchase your required size.  Pick up dates are Sat 22nd 9 -6 pm and Mon 24th  9 am - 1 pm.

IF YOU NEED A DIFFERENT DATE, CALL AND WE MAY BE ABLE TO ARRANGE THAT FOR YOU AS WELL.

December

So when does your family get together for the Christmas holidays?

We have a Dutch background and traditionally Sinterklaas Day is on Dec 5th.  We would polish our shoes and wait to see if we had been good or bad, good meant a chocolate letter in our shoe and bad meant a lump of coal.  We have many wonderful customers from many different backgrounds and it is interesting to hear how and when Christmas is celebrated in different homes. So far we have snow and we're here's hoping to keep the snow for Christmas as well.

Wishing everyone a safe and blessed Christmas from our family to yours.

For the kids, there are downloadable colouring images.

Farming is a lot of very hard, dirty and non-ending work but we still enjoy what we do and we love to share our experiences with others.
