CSA Program

Thank you for your interest in our CSA program.   We are really excited about this way of offering our vegetables to people.   We’ve been growing vegetables on our farm, for our on farm market, for the past 30 years-so the growing side we know!  The veggies are growing in the greenhouses and out in the fields--can't wait to eat them.  And yes, you can still join.

So in the middle of August, for example, in our CSA box there is sugar baby watermelon, peaches, broccoli, kohlrabi, bok choi, spanish onion, cucumber, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, cabbage, heritage carrots and beets, green leafy and red leafy lettuce and romaine and more.  The bin is full and heavy!!

As the season progresses we have cauliflower, turnips, brussel sprouts, kale, tomatoes, fennel, potatoes and more growing in the fields, getting ready for the fall harvest.

How it Works

The vegetables that we have grown for years, as well as a selection of additional ones, will be offered for home delivery starting later this spring/early summer.

We hope start our delivery schedule by the second week of JUNE -but this could change either back or forward by a week or 10 days due to weather.  Our summer program will run for 22 weeks from early JUNE thru until the first week of NOVEMBER, then we will have a separate winter program that may run through until March.

We will offer 7-12 different items:  a family share would be good for an average family of 4-5 people or a veggie loving couple and a half/middle share quantity of vegetables suits 2-4 people and our personal share is good for a single person or a couple who doesn't eat as many vegetables or has young children.

Spring, Summer and Fall

In the Spring
Starting in the Spring the list includes: our own honey, asparagus, peas, green onions, radishes, English cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, bok choy, kohlrabi, and rhubarb.

In the Summer and Fall
During the summer and into the Fall: green & yellow beans, beets, carrots, beafstake heritage tomatoes and yellow and red cherry tomatoes, green onions, romaine lettuce, spanish onions, sweet corn, white and red potatoes, English cucumbers, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini. Fruits available are: strawberries, blueberries, apples, plums, peaches, nectarines, pears, watermelon, and cantaloupe.

Including the vegetables listed above the Fall also brings: cauliflower, cabbages, brussel sprouts, turnips, kale, leeks, celery, cooking onions, parsnips, winter squash and pumpkins.

Recipes and cooking instructions will be available for vegetables that may be new to you.

Offer Our Own Turkey Products

As turkey farmers we want to offer our own frozen ground turkey, turkey sausages, smoked turkey drums and wings, turkey kolbasa and pepperette.
Omega 3 frozen chickens 5-8 lbs and fresh brown eggs are also on the list.

Even though this is an extensive list- items may still be added as the season progresses-it all depends on the growing conditions. We strive to give you the best quality vegetables and fruits possible.
